I’d like to share these thoughts with you today:

Our job is the same this morning as it was two mornings ago. We are still going out into the world to share love and work for justice.

We still believe the same things we believed last week.

We still hold fast to right and wrong even when it seems topsy-turvy.

We just need to make sure we work even harder to match the hate and fear we hear out in the world with words of love and acts of compassion. 

Then we will be sad together and then we will go through our days. And when we gather together on Thursday and in the coming weeks, we will share about our sadness again and how we found ways to show compassion and share love into the world.
