집에서 돌아가시면 911에 연락을 합니다. 그러면 경찰이 와서 사안을 간단하게 작성합니다. 그리고 funeral service에 연락을 하면 고인을 모시고 갑니다. 다만 경찰에 의해 고인 사망에 의심이 가는 부분이 있다면 경찰이 시신 검사하는 곳에 연락을 하여 고인을 모시고 갑니다. 그후 연락을 받으면 funeral service에 연락하여 고인을 모시고 옵니다.

4.1 묘지 비용: 미국에 계시는 분들은 이미 알고 계시겠지만 이제 묘지의 비용도 상당히 비쌉니다. 그러므로 매장을 하겠다라고 생각하시는 분들은 미리 늦지않게 준비하시길 바랍니다. 가격은 지역마다 달라 딱 말할 수 없지만 적어도 최소 5천불이상입니다. 장례 비용중 상당히 많은 비중을 차지합니다.

묘지 비용: 최소 5000불 이상, 지역마다 가격이 크게 다르므로 2-3만불이 넘는 곳도 많습니다. 그리고 가격은 계속 올라갑니다. 필요하다면 꼭 미리 준비하세요. 저희는 미리 준비하였습니다.

4.2 묘지 매장 비용: 묘지를 구매하면 그 다음으로 준비할 것은 장례식 후 매장 서비스입니다. 땅을 파는 것부터 시작하여 묘비를 세울 곳을 정돈해주는 것까지 해줍니다. 이때 땅에 물이 차지 않게 해주는 서비스는 별도인 곳도 존재합니다. 매장 비용 역시 지역마다 다 다르지만 이 역시 적어도 최소 3000불이상입니다. 당연히 묘비는 별도 입니다.
